Tour Description
Wave goodbye to Inverness as we cross over the Kessock Bridge. You’ll enjoy a comfort break in the lovely hamlet of Achnasheen, perched beside the River Bran.
We'll continue west and you’ll cross onto the little island of Eilean Ban, crossing the famous Skye bridge into Kyleakin. We'll stop here for you to stretch your legs and get some photographs before continuing deeper into the misty isle.
We'll journey past the Cuillin Hills and the Sligachan Bridge enroute to Portree where we'll stop for lunch. It’s colourful harbour is one of the most recognisable spots of Skye. It is situated on the east side of the island and a wonderful place to enjoy fish and chips and watch the world go by.
After a relaxing lunch we’ll make our way to Talisker Distillery, where you'll get the chance to try a wee dram of whisky. Our next stop will be the Fairy Pools,we'll spend approximately 90 minutes here so you can enjoy the walk up this network of bluey, green waterfalls that will tempt you to swim in them.
We will then begin our journey back to the mainland and to one of Scotland's most picturesque castles, Eilean Donan. It is perched on it's own island at the head of Loch Duich.
Your day concludes with a bit of monster spotting as you drive along the shores of Loch Ness as we head back to Inverness.
